Primary Location: Costa Rica Education: Bachelor’s Degree Job Function: Corporate Services Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job Employee Status: Regular Travel Time: Yes, 25 % of the Time Job ID: 18010750 Description The NUIX & Relativity Engineer position is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) who exhibits the highest level of expertise in performing tasks specific to the NUIX & Relativity. This person is responsible for the injestion and staging of data within NUIX & Relativity; as well as possessing mastery level skills with regards to the Relativity Binders Admin application. The SME functions as the regional ambassador for this specific knowledge area and applies expertise to support Relativity’s vision and strategic direction. The SME is the “go to” person within CSIS who provides solutions and suggestions to stakeholders in answering questions surrounding the use and capabilities afforded by Relativity. Develop automation for managing workflows for processing (NUIX & Relativity). Develop parsers to ingest varied data types into Nuix for correlation and analysis. Pre-processing of different formats of unstructured data and forensics images. Execute search queries; removing duplicate items from an item set; classifying, culling, and organizing data using tagging, exclusions, and custom metadata. Assisting with the creation and maintenance of client deliverables Support the IST manager to generate standard metrics. Production schedules and delivery data tracking – relevant information for data received and transitioned to various units and functions (Forensics, EDD) Professional and timely communication between clients and internal operations Troubleshoot data and system related issues and escalate appropriately Work with technical service teams to deliver customized solutions and professional services to customers Run quality control checks on all final deliverables as well as various detailed checks throughout the lifecycle of a project to ensure that high quality standards are met. Conference chair´s moderators Help create budgets and track expenditures, bookkeeping allocate and process payables billing and credit Contribute to Staff to do list & Agendas Member records assist in data entry as requested Qualifications Studies: College degree required; Computer oriented prefereable; otherwise the candidate must demostrate expierence in eDiscovery matters. Experience: 2+ year experience in eDiscovery matters/ projects. 2+ year experience with scripting or programming languages, including but not limited to Visual Basic .Net, MySQL, C, C++, Perl, Python, Ruby and / or SQL Oracle Database development. Demonstrated high-level proficiency in NUIX and Relativity eDiscovery/document review platforms. Highly desirable. Skills and knowledge: EDiscovery application certifications preferred, e.g. Concordance, LAW, Relativity, Nuix, EnCase, etc. Highly desirable. Experience using various software tools including Relativity (kCura), Clearwell (Symantec/Veritas), Axcelerate (Recommind), Viewpoint (Xerox), Xera (iCONNECT), Equivio (Microsoft), Brainspace (Brainspace), PSS Atlas (IBM), eCapture/Allegro/Eclipse (iPro), LAW Prediscovery and ECA (LexisNexis), eNCASE eDiscovery/eDiscovery Review (Guidance), Extero, Autonomy (HP), Kazeon (eMC), etc. Experience with all listed tools not a requirement, but broad base of experience across various tools is desired. Computer forensics basic knowledge. Excel proficiency, a plus. English proficiency Problem Solving. Strong analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills. Well versed in analysis methods and techniques for managements of projects containing ESI. Excellent organization skills and ability to self-manage. Ability to work flexible schedule and extra hours as needed. Maintain a high performance level on repetitive tasks. High attention to detail and accuracy of work. Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally. Work well in a team environment as well as independently. Work well under pressure and time-critical situations.
