Primary Location: Costa Rica Education: Bachelor’s Degree Job Function: Finance Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job Employee Status: Regular Travel Time: No Job ID: 17062664 Description Job Purpose: This position is responsible for managing multiple software development projects by providing technical direction and helping to ensure that the projects are completed on time. This position will also be responsible for coordinating, planning, designing and developing tools and applications, unit testing, debugging new and/or existing software, performance tuning and optimization of existing code. Identify, track, and report metrics associated with all phases of the development and implementation project’s lifecycle. Act as liaison between parallel work-streams, determine and report progress, and escalate concerns to the SLTs. Another key role for this position is to provide level 2 and level 3 troubleshooting support to Visual Basic for applications tools during critical peeks of business monthly processing. In addition this position will provide extended support during Month End for the diverse FRO Products. Key Responsibilities: Direct and manage automation solutions from beginning to end. Consistently communicate with the customers he or she is working with Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with Senior Management and Final Users. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Track project milestones and deliverables. Interaction with Audit related deliverables. Track & report on a monthly basis the volume of issues fixed and the type of support given. Qualifications Knowledge/Experience: +3 year experience in development of technological solutions or a technological environment Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (minimum 70% Completed). Process automation experience – Required. Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential. Ability to manage development projects. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Development and Financial experience are Desirable Skills: English 85%. Database Administration knowledge (Access) – Advanced level. Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) – Advanced level. Structured Query Language (SQL)- Intermediate MS Office – Advanced level. VBScript – Advanced level. Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies. Competencies: Leadership Problem Solving Verbal Communication Analysis/Judgment Customer Orientation
