We serve 18 countries and 4 additional groups and more than one hundred business units in Central America and Caribbean, South America and Offshore and provide single close ( financial/management) reporting support to Regional Office, CFO’s, Controllers and Finance personnel in each Country compiling accounting data and preparing Financial Reporting according to US GAAP and managerial information. We also provide support for other various processes and reports including Intercompany, among others. Financial Reporting Operations team has supported and supports various system migrations, UAT financial integrations and projects for the region. Key Responsibilities: Responsible to manage interaction with regional and country seniors Analyze, perform and approve US GAAP entries needed to align local regulatory reporting to corporate regulatory reporting, this includes coordination with processing areas at FRO and at Country level to guarantee accuracy and timeliness of the financial process Prepare, approve and analyze Corporate periodic reports for the country and region Establish and keep a fluent and efficient communication with the country and regional controllers regarding the coordination of the processes and deadline compliance Support local and regional Controller and country Corporate reporting heads Accomplish all tasks related to projects both Corporate and specific for each country/region Establish and comply with surrounding controls as per Citi policies and guidance for the financial process, supporting documentation, binders, MAC, EUC., Entitlements, COB, etc. Coordinate, analyze and establish corrective action plans for processes for the region such as KPI’s, Risk and control reviews, Issue log, metrics, COB testing, etc. Analyze, establish and support VOE and sound working environment practices Serve as a main support to the coordination of a team of analysts, identifying development opportunities and action plans for the team including identification of training needs for each position as well as administrative functions Responsible for the queries, reports and accounts related to US Reporting activities, requested by regional and Country Controllers as well as the coordination/communication to related parties regarding these activities; some of these activities will be temporal, until they are transferred to the final responsible area Qualifications Knowledge/Experience: CPA / Financial Administration, Accounting or related fields formation bachelor degree or equivalent education 5 years minimum of experience in a financial control / finance support roles / accounting / Citi experience at least 3 year Ability to manage clients, client communication, expectations and resolve performance issues Skills: Advance fluency in English (B2) Solid accounting knowledge and US GAAP knowledge Management skills Excellent PC Skills (Excel and MS Office, databases, financial reporting systems – Access is a plus) Process management Able to multitask Competencies Adaptability/Flexibility Analysis/Judgment Problem Solving Attention to details Goals Orientation (Ability to meet deadlines/urgency awareness ) Leadership
