The Global Business Process Reengineering Lead is responsible for collaborating and partnering with the HRSS Product heads to identify and deliver process and organization improvement and automation opportunities to create efficiencies and effectiveness in support of the product’s productivity and financial targets. The Lead will be expected to manage multiple projects for several product groups within HRSS and collaborate with regional Continue Improvement and Project Leads for work that needs to take place in the regions. Functionally, the Global Business Process Reengineering Lead rolls up into HRSS’ CAO Business Office. Key Responsibilities: Partner with product head to identify process improvement, reengineering and automation opportunities and act as global lead, with support from regions, to manage projects utilizing CitiLean and Smart Automation Center methodologies to conduct analysis and lead initiatives/meetings/workshops Map end-to-end processes and conduct process deep dives, in partnership with Operations Managers, to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and automation Identify key opportunity areas and size the estimate for capacity creation, which will lead to headcount and $ efficiency. Ability to develop ROI and business cases. Able to conduct interviews to detail out current “as is” state of processes, make recommendation to streamline and improve the documented “to be” state for the new and improved process Serves as Project Manager for projects including developing project timeline and key milestones, leading project tasks and plans, managing budget, meeting facilitation, communication planning and execution and other project planning activities. Orchestrate and drive the successful and timely completion of projects to achieve business goals, including the identification and resolution of risks and issues which impact project delivery Build strong relationships with program/project sponsors and communicate to all stakeholders (including Senior Management) on a timely basis in a clear way Able to anticipate and address stakeholder needs and concerns and adapt execution suited to needs without sacrificing quality and controls on delivery Design, prepare and deliver executive level presentations, business reviews and reports Leverage existing CSS re-engineering programs like Bright Ideas, Innovation Café, Citi Lean training to create a grassroots level re-engineering culture in HRSS Continuously partner with HRSS products to improve existing products/services to identify potential savings, eliminate waste and improve processes. Closely partner with regional Continuous Improvement and Project teams on local evaluation and reengineering tasks Knowledge/Experience/Skills Extensive knowledge and experience leading reengineering projects utilizing Lean or Six Sigma techniques. Must be well versed and have extensive practical experience in Project Management, Six Sigma, Agile and SCRUM. Experience in HR or HR Shared Services considered a plus Financial acumen to constantly look for economic opportunities through strategic initiatives and run cost / benefits analysis for large initiatives and recommend option This role requires broad based knowledge and skillset that can lead top-down productivity strategy (like identifying opportunities through process deep dives) as well as build a bottoms-up, employee-driven business process re-engineering culture Positive team player with developed verbal and written communication and diplomacy skills and an ability to persuade and influence colleagues, stakeholders and partners Excellent analytical and organizational skills Understands and inspires change Demonstrable, advanced experience in navigating and leveraging project management tools Challenge the status quo while maintaining positive relationships Significant experience with and passion for process improvement, project management and innovation Demonstrate good interpersonal skills by displaying an understanding of the needs and perspectives of others and ability to develop strong partnerships with stakeholders Proven track record of successfully leading multiple projects on a large scale Proven success at working both independently and in a collaborative environment Strong commitment to quality, attention to detail and problem-solving skills Must possess leadership ability to see the big picture without losing attention to detail and strong relationship management skills with the ability to handle conflict and negotiations Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree considered a plus. 8+ years of professional, process improvement and project management experience Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification required. Citi Lean apprentice certification would be an added value Project Management Certification with proven applicable experience utilizing certification or equivalent project management experience Management of people considered a plus Competencies: Fluent English Strong leadership and business intelligence Cultural sensitivity and ability to effectively manage and work in a virtual, global environment. Requires conceptual thinking in complex / completely new situations. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as part of a growing function Ability to multi-task, appropriately prioritize tasks and handle short-term deadlines and conflicting priorities Ability to work in matrixed work environment MS Office applications (Excel & PowerPoint and Project – advanced level preferred) Knowledge and experience with Sharepoint and innovative technologies such as Robotic Process Automation considered a plus
