Citi’s HR Shared Services (HRSS) develops world-class global HR infrastructure that provides services, processes and tools to enable businesses to manage their employees while assisting in management of cost, risk, growth and quality. The HRSS Regional Reengineering & Migrations Head role is to manage the reengineering & migrations team supporting the respective regions, to drive reengineering through opportunity identification and delivery, providing tools and frameworks to enable execution, and building the culture through which reengineering becomes part of everyday awareness. The Head and the team will achieve this agenda through identifying areas for process benchmarking, standardization, streamlining, organization, automation, system enhancements, and location strategy. The priority will be to unlock opportunities to improve on cost, timeliness, accuracy and partner satisfaction. The coverage will also apply to migrations activities to ensure reengineering work begins from point of entry into HRSS and ensure work is received in proper standards where possible. Key Responsibilities: · Identify and Drive Re-engineering and Migration Opportunities · Engage with leadership and operations to identify opportunity areas that will yield productivity and/or more robust controls, and/or enhanced customer satisfaction to promote HRSS’ competitive advantage in the industry. · Conduct reengineering workshops to identify opportunities via areas for process benchmarking, standardization, streamlining, organization, automation, system enhancements, and location strategy · Link opportunities to business performance measures · Promote process standardization through global best practice sharing · Agree and hold stakeholders to committed target dates to ensure planned opportunities are realized · Act as initial review for migration activities by conducting preliminary review of scope for consistency with HRSS strategy, assessing additional opportunities for migration, high level capacity impact and possible strategies for integration into HRSS with the intent of creating initial MOU document. · Integrate reengineering with migration practices and balance lift-and-shift with fix-and-shift transition strategies Provide proper frameworks and tools for Reengineering & Migrations Workshop Driven Reengineering (ProActive Reengineering) Grassroots Reengineering Training (CitiLean, Lean Forward) CSS Migration Methodology Sustainability through culture building, development and awareness Leading Bright Ideas program for HRSS Lead Innovation Café forum for sharing best practices and ideas across HRSS Reporting & Tracking Ensure that there is global visibility on HRSS migration and resource & location projects globally, including status and success outcomes. Maintain monthly dashboards for senior stakeholders and partners. Ensure there is global visibility on HRSS Reengineering projects including baseline, opportunity identified and delivered and status. Manages risk and control Stakeholder Management Able to anticipate and address needs and concerns and adapt execution suited to needs without sacrificing quality and controls on delivery Able to partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for projects by understanding needs and questioning assumptions Delivers partner solutions. Leadership Responsibilities · Manage the team, ensuring focus on execution to strengthen team performance and enable team and individual growth. This includes resource and staffing plans, work priorities as well as development of effective feedback mechanisms · Create an atmosphere where business partner’s issues are dealt with professionally and in a timely manner. Suggest solutions that optimize the value of staffing resources. · Build relationships with Global and Regional HRSS partners in each project area, conducting regular meetings to share ideas and collaborate on projects where possible. · Participate in the annual budget process, understand and be responsible for cost-effective expense control of the regional team. · Demonstrate good interpersonal skills by displaying an understanding of the needs and perspectives of others. Demonstrate a capacity to recognize value and respect differences across a diverse workforce. · Work with HRSS regional and global management to coordinate vision, strategy, approach and resources. Qualifications •Extensive project management experience working within the HR shared services and payroll area with a minimum of 5 years’ experience •Very strong knowledge and experience of leading reengineering and change within an organization with a minimum of 3 years’ experience •Certified LEAN expert and/or Green Belt (6 Sigma) an advantage •Extensive experience as a senior manager of employees across levels with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. Demonstrated ability to build and manage high performing teams. •5+ years “hands-on” HR Operations experience desirable •Excellent working knowledge of HR business processes and shared services operational set-up. •HR & Payroll management. •Leadership ability •Highly motivated, organized and methodical. •Logical, analytic and rationale. •Commitment to process improvement and best practices implementation •Demonstrated analytical and diagnostic skills in dealing with information that is available but must be further manipulated. •Excellent written and oral communication skills; •Sharp motivational and influencing skills; •Robust negotiating skills; •Bachelor’s Degree •Leverages functional and business knowledge; •Drive for results; •Innovates and manages changes;
