Primary Location: Costa Rica Education: Bachelor’s Degree Job Function: Administration Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job Employee Status: Regular Travel Time: Yes, 10 % of the Time Job ID: 18003147 Description Support Business/functions assigned, to ensure close partnership in goals and objectives achievement ensuring compliance with local regulations and corporate policies Active HR coverage and support to businesses and identified as point of contact by the employees in the areas under responsibility. This is delivered through extensive engagement with businesses and day-to-day connect with the employees, and with necessary inputs/support from CHRO Qualifications Partner actively with business managers to understand ongoing HR needs, anticipate and provide timely solutions on people matters Identify problems, uses judgment in resolving problems by interpreting policies accurately and weighting alternative approaches. Partner with the business to ensure all new HR initiatives / projects are implemented aligned with local regulations, corporate policies and staff relations perspectives. Assist with the implementation and coordination of local activities (Talent, Diversity, VOE, Engagement, Benefits, MCA process) Identify problems, uses independent judgment in resolving problems by interpreting policies accurately and weighting alternative approaches. Assists in identifying the key HR issues for the organization and plans accordingly. Continually innovate and implement best practice in the management of Human Resources Responsible for ensuring all HR compliance guidelines are met for all internal and local regulatory policies Facilitate HR projects as required Handles staff relations issues that could potentially have organizational impact. Involved in recruitment, advises managers on hiring decisions when necessary. Involved in matters related to other HR disciplines, i.e. compensation, manpower planning, organizational development. Responsible for coaching, developing and motivating staff to achieve superior results. Interacts with line business officers and other HR professionals. Skills required Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field. Major in Human Resources is a plus. C1 – C2 English Level Requirements: At least 5 years in managing HR processes experience and internal customer service. Advanced English / Spanish Leadership and coordination of diverse teams and geographically dispersed. Consulting abilities Effective communication. Conflict management. Knowledge and expertise in local labor law is a must, and knowledge and expertise of compensation topics like salary structures, salary survey analysis, as well as staffing or recruiting expertise
