Primary Location: Costa Rica Education: Bachelor’s Degree Job Function: Technology Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job Employee Status: Regular Travel Time: No Job ID: 18006674 Description IT Business Analyst – ETS Central America Description: Laison between the Business and ETS Technology teams, having a good understanding of both the business requirements and the technological solution, with the ability to explain the needs of the business, “translate” the concepts and technological terms to the clients / end users. Responsibilities may also include maintenance of documentation requirements. Keep the technology and business departments informed of the status and development of the projects. Also, as the main objective, it must supervise the decision making of the different participants to resolve problems and mitigate risks. Responsibilities : · Effective customer-focus ensuring accurate understanding of Finance needs/priorities and proper synchronization of plans. Maintain effective partnership with Finance organization providing advice and contributing to Finance strategic planning. · Formulate and define the objectives and scope of the system for projects through research and findings, combined with a basic understanding of Finance & Risk systems. Document the requirements, define and make recommendations for improvement · Participates in validation and testing activities to identify problems in systems; applies evaluative decisions to make recommendations. · Write and prepare reports, metrics and presentations. · Use a good understanding of the concepts and procedures of business analysis and a basic knowledge of other technical areas. · Applies the good understanding of how the team interacts with others to achieve the objectives of the area. · Evaluates the applicability of previous or similar experiences and evaluates options under circumstances not covered by procedures or precedents. · Has a limited but direct impact on the team and closely related teams through the quality of the business analysis activities. It affects the team and closely related teams. Exchange ideas and information in a logical and concise way. Qualifications Qualifications · 5+ Years of Experience Managing complex Technology Portfolios. Business Analysis & Project Administration Skills required. · Ability to Establish and maintain fluent communication with Sector Technology Organizations, Global Finance Technology groups and Finance Architecture Organization. · English ( Advanced ) Preferable · Specialty: Certification as a Business Analyst or Project Management
