Primary Location: Costa Rica Education: Master’s Degree Job Function: Finance Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job Employee Status: Regular Travel Time: No Job ID: 18007585 Description Job Purpose: The Corp. and Regulatory Reporting Manager is mainly responsible to oversee the Regulatory Reporting Process. The individual will play a significant role ensuring controls are in place to guarantee the quality of the outcome of those reports. Regulatory reports include but not limited to Quarterly Memocable, Cash Flow, CER, FAS107 and other Regulatory reports. Supervisor the Regulatory working in partnership, with Finance across the different business as well with other FRSS groups; Support and interface to Internal and External Control organizations (Internal/external audit, regulators, control self-assessment, Compliance and Finance etc.); Provide guidance in evaluating the risks & controls and work with its group to ensure appropriate remedial actions are in place; This position must support the Department head on the different priorities of the group. Acts as a champion for the finance process transformation initiatives, such as USRRI implementation; identify opportunities to enhance collaboration on the group to adhere to those initiatives. Partner with the other groups on building simple and single solutions across the group to avoid redundancy and extra efforts; Responsible to ensure the accuracy of the reports, escalate issues timely and drive that to conclusion Qualifications Mainly with External Auditors from KPM to support the reviews when it is needed: Seniors in the FRO – CSS, Controllers and CFO’s in the Finance Organization. Corporate Regulatory Reporting group. Regional offices / Regional controllers Internal Audit when applicable Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance CPA and Public Accounting experience strongly preferable; Minimum 10/12+ years relevant experience in financial analysis and reporting and /or financial services is beneficial ;
Project Management experience; Must be able to think analytically and have a desire to learn about Citigroup’s businesses; Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; Motivated team-player, supervisory skills and ability to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment. Overall Competencies and Leadership Qualities Senior level experience in a related role with experience in business, functional and people management. Person will be a responsible for the supervision of a group of people, strong leadership is key for the success on this position; Demonstrates experience in managing teams and/or leading then through a transformation environment; Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels of internal and external audit and management; Proficient in metrics/KRIs assessment and reporting; Strong organizational skills with ability to manage, organize and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities; Willingness to question/challenge existing processes and ensure a satisfactory outcome; Good communication, verbal and in written; Analytical with attention to detail and strong problem solving skills; Proactive, able to take the lead in devising creative solutions; Maintains a calm and composed presence that exudes confidence.
