Job Description – Reimbursement Analyst II – Experian Health (171375) Experian is an Equal Opportunity Employer Reimbursement Analyst II – Experian Health – Job Number: 171375 Description The Claims Analyst reviews claims to make sure that payer specific billing requirements are met, follows-up on billing, determines and applies appropriate adjustments, answers inquiries, and updates accounts as necessary. Job Duties: • Process and review Medicaid primary and secondary claims. • Review and research various reports (i.e. daily status reports, not sent reports, hold reports, UB/2360 status reports, Aged Trial Balance reports). • Serves as a liaison between payer and clients. • Process Medicaid status files. • Maintain manual of billing notes, instructions, examples, emails, IDPA releases, bulletins, etc. • Familiar and knowledgeable of the Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) policy and procedure information. • Comply with HIPAA guidelines. • Access various clients’ host systems. • Perform account follow-up • Knowledge of UB04 • Utilize company software programs • Familiar with resources such as CPT, IDC9CM, & HCPCS coding books. Other Duties as Required. Qualifications Education & Experience: • Associates Degree preferred • One to two years of high volume medical billing and/or insurance claims processing experience required. • One to two years of customer service experience preferred.
