Description The Devops CoEis particularly focused on the tools that the business needs to deliver a greatservice to our internal and external customers. As a unit we provide globalservice management tools to enable IT service management including incident,problem and change management, emergency call out systems, reporting,dashboarding and service catalogue functions to Experian in 43 differentcountries. The team also delivers 24 hour systems monitoring and analyticscapabilities to a broad spectrum of business units, and Mainframe automation toboot. Role Overview The Devops team arecurrently in the early stages of introducing a Robotics Process Automationplatform to enable the automation of rules based repetitive tasks that arecurrently carried out by human resource. The chose platform to achieve this isAutomation Anywhere and we have and we have adopted a Centre of excellence(CoE) model supporting subject matter experts (SME) within the various businessunits within Experian. The CoE will compriseof a centralized function whereby a group of technically trained andexperienced Automation engineers will support a group of non-technical SME’swill have been given a degree of training on how to use the Automationsoftware, these SME’s will carry out the initial automation of the processesselected with the assistance of the CoE engineers and supported technicallythroughout the process development. Once the initial automation of theprocesses has been done it will be the responsibility of the CoE developmentteam to carry out further automation of the process to include securityhardening, error handling, continuous testing and monitoring, metrics and morecomplex areas of the automation process prior to carrying out full testing andQA of the process to ensure its suitability and operability on the environmentit is designed to run. The CoE will also be responsible for the release andversioning of all automated processes as well as the maintenance of theenvironments. Key Responsibilities · Utilize both businessprocess and information technology (IT) background to analyse businessprocesses and determine improvement opportunities · Key player inimplementing RPA Solutions to automate business processes across variousfunctions · Support execution ofcontrols and compliance over the RPA processes · Work across businessunits to enhance efficiency and effectiveness with the use of RPA technologies · Work with processstakeholders to implement innovative RPA solutions. The developer will beresponsible for supporting RPA solutions across departments. Work closely withbusiness process owners to determine process requirements and improvementoptions · Support analysisbusiness processes at operational level, provide recommendations and potentialRPA solutions for individual process and process integration · Conduct RPA scripttesting and maintaining updated workflow documentation · Apply and support RPAscripts with right controls and meeting all the compliance requirements · Support process ownersfor RPA-related issues and monitor progress after implementation · Deliver training anddemonstrations to SME’s and Stakeholders · Aid and support afederated team of auxiliary RPA developers. · Ensure that processesare reliable, secure and to eliminate risk of harm by any automated process. · Provide regular updatesand reports. · Obtain and shareknowledge effectively. · Proactively monitorthe environment and take corrective action in the event of a failure to keepthe service running. · Actively participatein meetings. · Follow best practiceand adhere to regulatory and business policy. · Good written andspoken English. Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications RPA software vendorsinclude Blue Prism, EdgeVerve, Datamatics, Accenture, Wipro, Verint, NICE,Automation Anywhere, Kofax, and Openspan (acquired by Pegasystems). Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications Understands development lifecycles able to apply DevOps principals and practice’s Previous automation experience Team Player, enthusiastic to understand complex business processes and able perform under pressure Understand the concepts, best practices and functions to implement a RPA solution Some experience with one or more RPA technologies such as Automation Anywhere UiPath, or Win Automation, is a plus. Background in scripting (JavaScript, VB Script) or application packaging advantageous Understanding or the concepts of Automation Working Knowledge of SQL Confident at communicating to groups and stakeholder of all levels Eager to learn, adopts and leverages fresh perspectives, breakthrough ideas, and new paradigms to create value for the organization Be skeptical and ready to take initiative with continuous improvement mind-set Detailed oriented and ability to learn and work independently Excellent understanding of Windows 7 Desktop and architecture, preferably with troubleshooting experience.
