Description Experian Automotive issearching for a Software Developer who will be a key contributor to the team.The candidate will possess a strong analytical mind, be a technical and creativethinker, and have a strong aptitude for problem solving.The ideal candidate will have excellentwritten, oral and interpersonal communication skills, along with the ferventdesire to continuously learn about different products and technologies. You will assist in thedesign and development of custom software and deliverables, as well as product maintenance,enhancements, and new product development. You will work with a team developing softwarein an Agile environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity fortechnical and professional growth. The essential responsibilities and functions of the role include: Work with team to understand the project requirements, system architecture,technical design, and develop the application components based on the design Work with team to follow system test plans, ensure software quality assurancestandards are achieved, and validate that business goals are accomplished Track and report development progress and performance daily. Work with projectteam members in all phases of software development life cycle Interface withsupport, product management, project management, QA, DBAs, and other colleaguesto support ongoing operations. Create comprehensivetechnical documentation and release notes. Ability to workeffectively within a diverse team and to communicate with others is crucial. Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications We are seeking highlymotivated individuals with a consistent record of professional and personalachievement. Creativity, initiative, resourcefulness and an entrepreneurialspirit are a must, in addition to the following: Bachelor’s Degree inComputer Science or Software Engineering or related field with significantsoftware and computer science course work History of personalinterest in computing and developing software Two to five years of experienceworking as part of team with the following: DBMSs such asMicrosoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, Vertica UNIX/LINUX Shell scripting, PERL,Python, SQL ETL tool (IBM DataStage,Redpoint DM, Pentaho Kettle, CloverETL or other) Version Controlsoftware such as CVS, Git, Subversion, SourceSafe BI tools (Tableaupreferred) Jira Agile Software developmentlifecycle and Agile development methodology Excellent understandingof programming concepts and methods Excellentcommunication, analytical, troubleshooting, and time management skills Ability to seamlesslytransition to high-priority projects and situations
