Description Experian is looking for a motivated, highly-technicalQA Analyst to ensure that software deliverables are of the highestquality. The selected individual will participate in all aspects of thesoftware development life cycle with particular emphasis on the software testingcycle and issue resolution prior to production implementation. You musthave a strong knowledge of QA methodologies as well as good communicationskills. Key Responsibilities Analyze requirements and design documents Identify and understand scope,requirements, and target implementation dates for proposed changes Write and execute QA test plans, testcases and test automation scripts Create test data Maintain regression test environments. Document any discrepancies identifiedand notify lead/manager/development in a timely fashion Analyze test results with objective todeliver highest quality software. Execute volume and performance tests Generate and maintain testtoolsand perform manual QA tests as needed. Effectively perform functional / UI,integration, unit and regression testing in test environment, smoke tests inproduction environment Handle multiple assignments with closedue dates (multi-tasking) Provide status to management tominimize any potential impact to schedules Interface with other departments tocoordinate tests and implementation activities Participate in software designdiscussions, reviews and test strategy sessions As needed, review turnover packagesfrom development, including development test plans, test cases and results As needed, perform configurationmanagement tasks Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent workexperience 2 – 4 years quality assuranceexperience Analytical and problem-solving skills Strong English (verbal and written) communicationskills Strong knowledge and experience of QAprocess Strong knowledge of Databases and SQL Strong knowledge and experience testingin a Web environment Knowledge of XML Ability to perform data analysisagainst extensive data sets Ability to work well either with a teamor individually Ability to maintain focus under typicalproject pressure and time constraints Ability to work on multiple projectsand priorities Experience in development a plus Experience with Unix or Linux a plus Experience with DB2 a plus Java applications environmentexperience a plus Shell scripting a plus Selenium and Jenkins experience is aPlus.
