Description Experian is looking for a motivated, highly-technical QA Analyst to ensure that software deliverables are of the highest quality. The selected individual will participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle with particular emphasis on the software testing cycle and issue resolution prior to production implementation. You must have a strong knowledge of QA methodologies as well as good communication skills. Key Responsibilities Analyze requirements and design documents Identify and understand scope, requirements, and target implementation dates for proposed changes Write and execute QA test plans, test cases and test automation scripts Create test data Maintain regression test environments. Document any discrepancies identified and notify lead/manager/development in a timely fashion Analyze test results with objective to deliver highest quality software. Execute volume and performance tests Generate and maintain test toolsand perform manual QA tests as needed. Effectively perform functional / UI, integration, unit and regression testing in test environment, smoke tests in production environment Handle multiple assignments with close due dates (multi-tasking) Provide status to management to minimize any potential impact to schedules Interface with other departments to coordinate tests and implementation activities Participate in software design discussions, reviews and test strategy sessions As needed, review turnover packages from development, including development test plans, test cases and results As needed, perform configuration management tasks Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience 2 – 4 years quality assurance experience Analytical and problem-solving skills Strong English (verbal and written) communication skills Strong knowledge and experience of QA process Strong knowledge of Databases and SQL Strong knowledge and experience testing in a Web environment Knowledge of XML Ability to perform data analysis against extensive data sets Ability to work well either with a team or individually Ability to maintain focus under typical project pressure and time constraints Ability to work on multiple projects and priorities Experience in development a plus Experience with Unix or Linux a plus Experience with DB2 a plus Java applications environment experience a plus Shell scripting a plus Selenium and Jenkins experience is a Plus.
