Primary Location: Costa Rica Education: Bachelor’s Degree Job Function: Operations Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job Employee Status: Regular Travel Time: Yes, 10 % of the Time Job ID: 17070361 Description Finance & Risk Operations based in Costa RICA, aims to align financial and management reporting processes across the LATAM Region, to have a common set of processes, thereby ensuring the efficient and effective execution of control, reporting and analysis requirements. By partnering with Country Financial Control, the organization strives to improve the efficiency of this common function by reducing defects and improving cycle time. The Program involves the identification and transition of the activities from Country Financial Control into Finance & Risk Operations. This shared service also relieves the businesses of routine financial control and reporting activities thus allowing legal vehicle financial controllers to concentrate on high-level, value-added analytical activities. These processes are continuously reviewed to achieve Six Sigma Quality while maintaining integrity of financial and management reporting. Role & Responsibilities – Be part of the team that will drive the definition and design of the Mappings and ETL Process of Financial Data from various Data Sources (i.e. Transactor, DAP, RDW, FMS, FDW etc) into Pearl and FRS standard that matches the enrichment in the current Reporting System. – Review of Business Requirement Documents (BRD) – Review of Functional Requirements Documents (FRD) – Creation of Operations schedule and processes – Creation of report design – Validate system logic – Creation of configuration documents – Creation of consistent Enrichment logic at matches SmartII, FDW, CRC. Etc., – Drive the process and/or systemic change that will create a reconciled set of financial data Participate in the configuration and development phase of the project including: – All country specific configurations – Work with technology and FRI Architecture with conversion efforts – Perform reconciliations of converted data Participate in the SIT phase of the project including: – Review of all country SIT specific test plans and scripts – Correction of any configuration issues – Configuration support Participate in the UAT phase of the project including: – Assist in the creation of the UAT test plan Creation of FRO test scripts – Execution of FRO test scripts – Support business with UAT testing – Creation of all country specific documentation and procedures – Assist with stress/performance/volume testing Participate in the Go Live phase of the project including: – Assistance with user training – Confirm production configurations – Assist with and confirm conversion – Assist in the complete of go live checklist – To be able to define, design and support the Entitlement of Full Suite Global – Collection of the different Entitlement needs for Full Suite Global – Align the System Processes and Design to be able to meet the Entitlement Requirements Qualifications Experience – Advanced knowledge of the data transfer and enrichment of multiple cross-platform Finance Systems in NAM, LATAM, Asia and EMEA – Excellent understanding of financial processes and financial systems functions – At least 3 years Finance experience – At least 3 years experience Data Transformation and Data Mappings for a Citi Financial System – Has experience in the design and implementation of a new Daily Financial System – Able to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple and changing demands Knowledge, Skills, Expertise – Knowledge of principles, practices and theories of Financial Processes – Knowledge of risk and controls within Operations processes – Knowledge of project methodologies – Proactive in identifying Process and System Enhancements, and the ability to test and execute Change Requests related to these System Improvements – Knowledge of external trends and best practices – Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving – Initiates development of innovations and solutions to enhance existing precedents and procedures – Leads implementation of changes – Analyzes options and can identify potential solutions – Works with management to resolve more complex problems – Collaboration – Demonstrates collaboration skills and techniques which appropriately define alternate solutions; resolve conflicts; and create lasting, productive partnerships with clients – Actively participates in cross-functional groups to solve problems across projects – Utilizes a network of relationships to collect and disseminate information, build support, and secure buy-in for desired objectives – Projects a credible lead image when strategically communicating and planning for change – Fosters a productive relationship with executive level sponsors – Communication Effectiveness – Demonstrates interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, and negotiating skills – Ensures open communication across project teams – Handles broad-based, often complex, communication for internal and/or external audiences – Creates a forum and format for ongoing open communication within functional area or among departments
