Primary Location: Costa Rica Education: Bachelor’s Degree Job Function: Procurement Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job Employee Status: Regular Travel Time: No Job ID: 17051028 Description Job Purpose : Jr Sourcing Manager is responsible for supporting the tactical sourcing and contract activities for the Telecom- Consulting-Core Infrastructure sourcing categories at Mexico. This position interacts with all levels of management, including senior management from various businesses and suppliers. Job Background: Enterprise Supply Chain’s Service Center in Costa Rica is a “shared services” organization with a concentration of resources leveraging common activities across Americas supply chain. The Service Center leverages Citi’s scale and efficiencies in common activities that are not core to any individual business, with a goal of lower cost and higher service levels. Key Responsibilities: This person is responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies, negotiate and implement process improvement strategies to reduce the total cost of ownership for Telecom, Consulting and Core Infrastructure categories. Essential Position Responsibilities: Work closely with SDM at Mexico to create and execute global strategies Collaborate with peer sourcing teams utilizing category best practices and maximizing enterprise leverage as appropriate Work closely with Mexico sourcing managers that manage the Telecom, Consulting and Core Infrastructure categories to ensure they are executing strategies and have line of sight to confirm contributions towards achieving aggressive annual measurement goals (e.g., savings targets) Manage the analysis, negotiation, drafting and implementation of telecom, Consulting and Core Infrastructure, contracts, and management of contracts and suppliers for contract compliance, deliverables and opportunities Help to lead and be part of complex sourcing projects, which would include developing and directing RFPs and/or eAuctions; analyse supplier proposals to determine savings, commitments and opportunities Drive supplier rationalization/optimization initiatives for region Develop and deliver communication and change management activities with stakeholders at all levels Contribute to and comply with corporate initiatives such as: Approved Supplier Program, Diversity Spend Program, Service Excellence, Procure-to-Pay program, etc. Manage suppliers in compliance with the Vendor Selection and Management Procedures Liaise with other Sourcing Managers, Legal, internal customers and suppliers in written communication and via teleconference Knowledge and Experience: At least 1+ years of previous procurement experience and contract drafting / contract management is required Strong knowledge of the telecom, consulting and Core Infrastructure of Mexico business is a must At least 1 year working with the Telecom, consulting and Infrastructure key user for the Mexico business is a must Knowledge of Managed Service Programs (MSPs) and Vendor Management Systems (VMS) Previous experience of working in other Sourcing categories at MX, at least Branch and Campus.
