Description The Sourcing Manager is responsible for supporting the sourcing and contract activities for the Global Consumer Bank. The key commodities for this role are Print, Cards & Fulfillment Services. This position interacts with all levels of management, including category managers and senior management from various businesses and suppliers. Key Responsibilities: The Sourcing Manager leads the sourcing process for the various products and services within the Strategic Sourcing team. The Sourcing Manager is a manager of the overall sourcing process and supports the cross-functional team in developing and executing sourcing strategies, supplier management strategies, and contract negotiations (including drafting and red-lining contracts). The Sourcing Manager has to be organized, detailed and results oriented and have fluent English language and multi-tasking skills as they will be responsible for all aspects of sourcing and contract management processes from strategy through negotiation and contract execution. Essential Position Responsibilities: Lead Requests for Proposals and supplier negotiations. Ability to develop creative negotiation strategies to reduce costs and deliver additional value for Citi. Lead financial analysis and financial modelling Draft contracts drafting and perform red-lining in English to meet Citi standards Manage stakeholder expectations through prompt clear communications and obtaining various stakeholder approvals required for contract execution Lead projects, including leading client and supplier meetings, preparing agendas, running the meetings effectively and distributing clear minutes and actions Work with suppliers to measure and track performance and any reporting / reconciliation requirements and use this to drive the category strategy Respond to customer service inquiries and clarify requirements and provide information as needed Utilize various Citi tools and processes to research supplier and commodity information. Report and record Procurement transactions such as: Sourcing Request Forms, Projects, Sourcing Strategy, Savings, Contracts, Approved Suppliers, etc. Meet all audit guidelines and ensure adherence to Citi process and procedures Participate and support in the development, management and analysis of Requests for Proposal and / or eAuctions Meet reporting requirements, including drafting and checking the accuracy of reports for the team in support of leadership Liaise with Sourcing colleagues, Legal, internal customers and suppliers in written communication and via tele / video conference Establish, grow and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners and ensure alignment, collaboration and joint ownership in optimizing the supply chain and total cost of ownership. Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor’s or equivalent work experience Contract and Supplier Management experience is preferred Able to speak, read and write English fluently Knowledge and Experience: Familiarity with respective sourcing, suppliers, technical terminology Certified Procurement Professional such as CPM or CIPS is a plus Commercial awareness Experience of Procurement applications (Oracle or SAP eSourcing an advantage) Experience of working in an international context Process improvement skills an advantage Procure to Pay experience an advantage Skills: Excellent personal communications skills (in the English language).
