Job Description

The Sourcing & Sales Assistant is responsible for (I) administrative support in sourcing and buying materials, supplies, equipment and services pursuant to the requirements of the Company’s headquarters, inventory plans and materials forecasts or as assigned by the management on ad hoc basis and (II) developing, maintaining and growing sales of our ingredients and contract-manufactured food products to customers in India from the United States; this person will, under the leadership, guidance and training of the company’s management, identify and develop new prospects in order to sell our ingredients and contract- manufactured food products and our custom processing services (the focus is on sales support, new business development, building customer relationships and resolving customer issues.)

The job holder, like any other employee of the Company, shall use common sense, shall strive to make sound judgment in all situations, and shall exercise due diligence and shall work to the fullest extent of his or her ability in the best interest of the Company. This Sourcing and Sales Associate shall abide by the Company’s Code of Conduct and comply with the Company’s guidelines, rules, policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs). As a part of the job duties and responsibilities, the job holder shall make sure that merchandise or services purchased, sold and/or provided meet or exceed the company’s quality and packaging standards and targets on cost savings and profit margins and that such merchandise or services shall be delivered on schedule and in conditions that conform to or exceed the purchase order/sales contract specifications. In terms of competency, effectiveness and productivity, he or she should strive to meet expectations of the management which should have been negotiated and consented to by the job holder before any undertaking, and shall execute and complete assignments and projects within deadlines mutually agreed upon and achieve overall goals of the Company with respect to supply chain management, inventory control, quality assurance, process improvement, customer service and satisfaction, cost savings and profit margins.
