Primary Location: Costa Rica Education: Bachelor’s Degree Job Function: Compliance and Control Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job Employee Status: Regular Travel Time: No Job ID: 17004245 Description Responsibilities : The Policy Governance Analyst general responsibility is to assist the Policy Governance Manager to effectively manage the policy approval process for the LATAM Region and to ensure full compliance of the Citi Policy Governance Policy. The Policy Governance Analysit specific responsibilities also include the following (though is not limited to them) to Assist the Policy Governance Manager in: • Maintaining a current inventory of Policy Documents issued by the respective Business, Function or Region, and coordinating as needed with other Policy Managers. • Cross checking the policy inventory against the Policy Documents posted to the Citi Policy Directory. • Coordinating with the other Businesses, Functions and Regions to ensure that policies are socialized as necessary or appropriate. • Tracking policy approvals. Facilitating and overseeing the periodic policy reviews to be conducted by the Policy Owners. • Tracking and reporting on, as requested, Policy Document review extensions and delinquent reviews. • Periodic reporting to the Citi Policy Committee on the policy governance activities of the Business, Function or Region. • Ensuring escalation to the Citi Policy Committee for approval of Citi level Policy Documents. • Guiding Owners in developing and drafting Policy Documents in accordance with this Policy and the Policy Hierarchy, including consolidation and harmonization of multiple Policy Documents. • Fully supporting remediation activities derived from Internal Audit reviews . Qualifications LATAM Compliance Organization: Any individual joining or working within LATAM Compliance at Citi will also be expected to be an example of the following Operating Principles and will be assessed and asked to demonstrate evidence against these principles where applicable during the selection process: Treat everyone with dignity and respect Act with urgency, courage and conviction Inspire excellence – be the standard Be accountable – own the outcome Act with integrity – do what is right Knowledge/Experience: 2 to 4 years of work experience in fields related to Compliance, Risk, Control, Finance, Banking, Accounting or similar. Proven track record in business analysis and reporting. Strong partnership and teamwork ability. Previous Corporate policies understanding and interpretation will be considered a plus. Some experience in working and understanding, Project Management (PMO) process. Skills / Competencies Excellent analytical and research communication skills. Process oriented. Superior planning and organizing skills. Strong Customer Service skills. Accuracy oriented and attention to detail is key drive and success determinant. Clear pragmatism and urgency in delivering results. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and experienced in the use of Web-Based systems. Fluent (read/write) English/Spanish is a must. Domain of Portuguese will be considered a plus. Positive thinking and Team work oriented. Ability to multi-task and remain flexible to changes to priorities and workload. General understanding of Web environment and SharePoint are a plus. Strong problem solving ability in way that is creative and self-determined. Confident under pressure with a strong desire to succeed. Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines.
