Job Description

We are a family of Costa Ricans that just recently moved back from the US, after living there for 9 years. Our kids (3-year-old daughter and 1-year-old boy) were both born in the US and we have been teaching them both English and Spanish since birth. Our caregiver of 3 years moved to Costa Rica with us but she is now ready to go back to the States, reason why we are looking for an energetic, hands-on, independent preschool teacher to take over her role. English is a must. We live in San Rafael de Montes de Oca. Our neighborhood is gated and very secure, with three different playgrounds and a pool that the kids really enjoy. We are both computer engineers and work from home on a regular basis.
An ideal candidate for this role should feel comfortable driving around with both kids and taking them places, like picking up our 3 year old from preschool and taking our youngest to early stimulation classes. This person should also enjoy being around kids and do daily activities with them, like sensory and stimulating activities with the baby, as well as art projects, reading books, singing, baking and going out on adventures. The ideal candidate should also be a great communicator, especially around our kids needs, and should be willing to work with us as a team while we raise them together. Finally, we are looking for someone well organized and neat. We try to keep our house as clean and organized as it can possibly be when you have two young children.
We offer above market value and very competitive compensation, all social charges and lunch on a daily basis. Other pluses will be provided based on performance.
